The Department of Marathi was established in the year 1986 and it has one full time and Five CHB teaching faculties. It offers courses in Marathi Literature and language at UG & P.G. level.

Major Activities:

Project work on “Zadipatti Bolibhashetil Mhani” was assigned to the students in academic session 2021-22
On 27/2/2023 Essay Competition was organized on the occasion of Marathi Pride Day On 17/2/2022
Marathi Language Conservation Fortnight is celebrated every year. On this occasion various guest lectures are arranged.
A program was held on the topic of “Marathi proverbs in Zadipatti”.
